The Ethical Navigator

Technology is incredible.  It connects us to our loved ones on the other side of the world, it streamlines businesses, accounting, travel and revolutionised learning.  It’s a modern miracle.

BUT, clever connectivity comes at a cost, and my mission is to be the ethical navigator for this amazing new world.

Unyielding, innovative, and endlessly insightful, Katja Forbes stands as a trailblazer at the intersection of ethics and emerging technology. Her ability to navigate the labyrinth of moral challenges presented by cutting-edge design trends with clarity and precision is completely fascinating. Her talks are a potent mix of thought-provoking insights and gritty realism, offering audiences a radical new perspective on the ethical implications of our rapidly evolving digital landscape. Whether she's deconstructing the impact of AI on human decision-making or challenging the status quo on data privacy, Katja has an uncanny knack for leaving audiences both unsettled and inspired - a surefire sign of a conversation worth having!

Steven TangDivisional Manager - Customer Experience, IQPC Conferences

We've had the pleasure of hosting Katja Forbes as a keynote speaker three times.

The first two were in-person Digitalks events in Sydney and Melbourne, presenting to over 230 of our customers on 'Design Thinking and Omni-channel: The Future of Customer Experience'.

The third occasion was via a Zoom webinar with over 500 attendees, right in the midst of the pandemic where a lot of our clients were in pain. Her topic was: Business As [Un]usual: Mindsets & frameworks to steer your business through the pandemic & beyond.

The feedback from all her presentations was excellent. Katja's knowledge is very deep, and she has a knack of demystifying complex information into easily digestible snippets, whilst backing up her content with great examples. Her straight-forward communication style and great sense of humour endeared her to the audience who were very open in praising her presentation style.

I wouldn't hesitate to invite Kaja back for more keynotes. Highly recommend!

I’ve had the privilege to have Katja Forbes as our Chairperson for the CX Asia Week 2023 Conference.

As the Chairperson, Katja's deep expertise in customer experience, coupled with her passion for driving positive change, was evident throughout the conference. Her ability to engage the audience, all industry experts and leaders in the community, created an atmosphere of innovation and shared learning.

She demonstrated an unparalleled ability to facilitate engaging and insightful discussions throughout the conference during the Q&A sessions and skillfully moderated panel discussions, encouraging diverse perspectives and providing valuable insights into the latest trends and best practices in the field.

Her enthusiasm for elevating the customer experience was contagious, motivating both speakers and attendees to actively engage in the conference and her ability to navigate complex situations was instrumental in handling unexpected challenges with grace and professionalism.

Katja has been a joy to work with and I cannot think of a better person to have as our Chairperson for the CX Asia Week 2023 Conference.

Why should I book Katja?

I ask difficult questions of the biggest companies and smallest players, so they think about what they’re doing with all our data, how they’re keeping it private and using it for societal benefit, not detriment.
